I recently stayed at a hotel in the heart of town, within walking distance of all the major attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. The staff were welcoming and helpful, even ordering a taxi for me. The breakfast was delicious, with a good selection of fresh and healthy options. The hotel had free Wi-Fi and a helpful receptionist. it was a great experience.
I did find it a bit difficult to navigate the number of stairs in the hotel.

I had a great stay here! The location was right in the heart of the city center, making it a great place to start exploring. Despite this, the surroundings were peaceful and quiet. The service was amazing - the staff on shift were always welcoming and gave me great customer service at the reception desk. I was impressed with the facilities here - there was free Wi-Fi and an electric kettle in the room!
I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

As longer term business travelers, we really appreciated the friendly staff, who were always happy to help. The rooms were spacious, with luxurious decor and comfortable beds. The bathrooms were impressive, with a full bath and separate shower. The location was central, within walking distance of various attractions. We also enjoyed the generous breakfast selection, which included a variety of cold meats, cheese, eggs, cereals, and breads. for the cost, we couldn't fault the Albany.
Felt right at home, nothing to complain about.

Albany Ballantrae Hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, just a short walk from Princes Street. The room I stayed in was large and comfortable, with a nice deep bath and a great shower. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a central city stopover.

Great location, walking distance to attractions. Not as steep as reviews suggest. Helpful staff. Clean room with high ceilings and large windows. Quiet street with pleasant bird sounds. Breakfast was decent with a variety of options.

The ground floor room was perfect - tidy, fragrant, and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The location was beautiful, with easy access to the city centre and old town. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of fresh food. The 24-hour reception and well-stocked bar were convenient. it was a wonderful stay at Albany in Edinburgh.
